Final Disco Reminder!

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Please read important details below regarding students entering/exiting Henry Lawson Hall for our disco on Thursday 30 November 2023:

Entry

Great North Road pedestrian gate will be the only access point for the disco.

Trestle tables, with class signs, will be set up along the edge of the basketball court in GN area.

K-2 tables will be next to Block A building.

Yr 3-6 tables will be on the lower side of the basketball court.

Before the start of each disco session, students must present themselves, with their parent/carer, at the table that has their class name displayed on the front.

Teachers will sign off each student, and all students will assemble behind the accompanying teacher.

Students will be taken into the hall by their class teacher for the commencement of the disco.

If you arrive at school wanting to pay cash for entry on the night of the disco, please move to the entry door under the GN cola and make payment with the correct amount. Your child must then move back to the correct table for their class, to be added to the class list by their own teacher.

The cost for entry is the following:  K-2 - $8.00 / Years 3-6 -  $10.00.

Exit

All students will exit via the side hall door and move with their teacher to their original class table on the basketball court.

Parents and carers are asked to wait at their child's class table.

All students must be signed off by their parent/carer in the presence of their teacher, before departure from our school site.

No students are allowed to leave our school site until they are in the company of their own parent or carer.

Please note:

If arrangements have been made for your child to be collected by another adult, this information must be given (in writing) to your child's teacher before 3pm on the day of our disco (30/11/23).

** Please peruse our last 2 flyers before the fun begins on Thursday night!

Kind regards

Ms Jackson

We choose to recognise the Wangal People of the Eora Nation as the true owners of the land on which we stand: of the sky above and of the water that surrounds us. We thank the Elders, both of the past and the present, who are the traditional custodians of this country and we promise to care for the land and respect it as they have done. As we play and learn together, we extend that respect to all Aboriginal people.
